Tips for S’mores Mug Cake Success

  • Watch the Microwave: Microwave times can vary, so keep an eye on your mug cake to avoid overflow. Better to start with shorter bursts and add more time if needed.
  • Get Creative: Don’t hesitate to customize your mug cake. Add crushed nuts, a drizzle of caramel, or even a scoop of ice cream on top for an extra indulgent treat.
  • Texture Alert: If you prefer a gooey, molten center, slightly undercook your mug cake. For a cake-like texture, cook it a bit longer.
  • Safety First: Mug cakes can get very hot, so be cautious when handling your mug after microwaving. Allow it to cool for a minute or two before digging in.
